Possibly the most “luxurious” wading jacket ever designed. Based on the original award winning “NOMAD CHEST WADER JACKET” ( which outfitted numerous destination outlets and lodges in ALASKA, MICHIGAN, B.C. , and West Coast USA , plus Chile, Argentina and New Zealand also Scandinavian and Baltic states and was the definitive design for so many other wading jackets ) this is now made from an Olive Green peached microfiber with Ventflex hydrophilic coating ( a fabric boasting no leaks in 22 years ) the new “NOMAD” is robust but light and tailored for roominess to be wrorn over fly vest, bulky clothing and even 5mm Neoprene waders resulting in the joy of unrestricted casting.

Features include:-

Tightly woven peached microfibre outer shell, with nylon sleeves, single sided thermally efficient fleece body lining which is warm, very breathable with below a 10 inch waterproof wading strip

Large hood that adjusts to any size of head, permits full view at any angle. When not in use this can be rolled and secured forming a high collar

Tailored for ease of movement, full cut body , “Raglan” style wide sleeves and broad cuffs mean no restrictions.

Double cuff system is unique – internal is adjustable to prevent water entering and the outer will close over gloves - making this a dependable multi-seasonal garment

2 x Large cargo pockets for largest of fly boxes

2 x Deep hand warmer pockets

4 x “D” rings for haemostats, snips, wading stick, net and mini fly boxes, zink etc

Interior of Flap …. Most wading jackets have a wallet sized pocket - NOT the “NOMAD” – instead is a huge zippered”wrap-around” pocket for camera, binoculars, coffee flask, spare reels etc etc … in our opinion this pocket is far superior to the flapped envelope style found in some jackets - Firstly, the NOMAD’s is easily accessible and Second;y, it does not cause restriction to casting etc or discomfort the way a lump in the middle of one’s back can be , which, is the result of filling the afore mentioned envelope style with only half the product the ‘wrap-around’ pocket holds.

Internally there are 2 x zippered pockets in the 10” wet strip for leaders, spare spools etc plus 1 x zippered pocket for keys and documents
