Named after the high performing “28 Bore” these super-light coats are an up-gtade version of the original “Grouse Coat” introduced in 2008, at the request of customers seeking a near-pakaway version of the dependable, long lasting and serious performing “Country Sportsman” coat and using the same outer fabric which has seen no leaks in 22 years
Available in both Olive Green and Moorland Brown you blend in with both field and moorland conditions. The equivalent is also available for ladies all with the following accessories :- proper Over Trousers, Hood, Adjustable country cap and Sou’Wester.

High Back Collar
Double storm flap with 2 – way zipper
Internal and external adjustable cuffs, allowing one to wear gloves in cold weather and allow air to circulate in warm
External soft to the touch and near silent peached microfibre with, internally a hydrophilic/hydrophobic coating which is wind and waterproof and,, highly breathable
2 x slouch hand warmer pockets with tabs to secure flaps of cartridge pockets below
2 x expanding cartridge pockets
Mesh lining with lower “game” and upper zippered pockets
Taped seams
Easy to clean – treat like a woollen , warm water wash at less than 40 degrees
Functional “cut” allowing light sweater to be worn underneath quite comfortably
