Introduction

At NomadUK we make 6 designs of Chest Wader Jackets and also offer a “Custom” service.
These cover all situations and destinations from Alaska and Northern Europe ( “New NOMAD” ) to packaway ( “ New EXPLORER” ) via deep water ( “KENMORE” ), Mid weight Trout/Sea Trout ( “THISTLE” ) to general trout ( “AQUARIUS” ) and lake ( “Stillwater”).
All are extensions of the original two designs – the “NOMAD” which was made to North American professional fly fishing guide requirements , and, the original packaway “EXPLORER” – the former using a robust polycotton and the latter a Meryll nylon all with a Ventflex hydrophilic coating making these totally salt and fresh water proof, wind proof and highly breathable. Tried and tested in Alaska these became THE wading jacket for professional guides from New Hampshire to Washington states and all across Canada.
A blend of functional design and high performance fabric make these long lasting and absolutely dependable. At Game Fairs in UK it is nothing for customers to visit us and regale us with fishy tales and to brag at just how old their jackets are !!
So good is this fabric that NomadUK invented and showed for two years at International Fly Tackle Show before any other wader maker. Made originally in a polycotton, we improved these creating a super lightweight rip stop and then the “PATHFINDER” a heavy duty but soft cordura. We continued until recently to make the “PATHFINDER” on a custom only basis, but being a small company we could not compete with the many large international companies.
We have found that the “New NOMAD”, “EXPLORER”, “KENMORE” and Thistle cater for most situations and have put the “AQUARIUS” and “STILLWATER” on sale in Promotion and Bargains
